Comentarios: Me agrado mucho conocer la plataforma, me encanto todas las opciones que tenia disponibles para implementarla en mi negocio y llevar un mejor control financiero del mismo.

Puntos a favor:

Me agrada mucho la plataforma de pagos de Square, porque tiene muchas ventajas aparte del proceso rapido y seguro, en esta plataforma tambien tengo otras opciones de administracion y control de la empresa, como el poder incorporar el proceso de nomina, pagos programados a proveedores, un control adicional de una cuenta de ahorros para liquidez adicional, y otras opciones mas que me interesaria tener mas informacion para implementarla en mi negocio.

Contras:

La plataforma es muy amigable y sencilla de usar, al principio como todo sistema, es de preguntar como se hacen los procesos de integracion y de operacion, quizas si llegaran a tener mas asisitencia en español o en otros idiomas seria grandioso para la gran diversidad de culturas que se viven en este pais

En cuestión del hardware que se necesita comprar muchas cosas.

Comentarios: Las Ventajas es que hace ha que los pagos sean mas rapidos y seguros de obtener.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que me gusta del producto es que puedo entrar el correo electronica del cliente y la suma de a pagar con todo y taxas. muy conveniente.

Contras:

Que ha veces tengo que pasar la targeta mas de dos veces o a veces la conection se corta

Square Payments allows you to accept payments no matter where you are!

Comentarios: Square Payments is easy to use and simple to each others. Since I like to do business both on and offline, it is definitely a very viable tool for my art business. Whether I am out in the world vending or just on the Internet sellimg items via my website, this allows me to be flexible with my sales no matter where I am at.

Puntos a favor:

Square payment software is easy to use both online and in "RL" (Real Life). If you have a versatile business and you are conducting sales both on and offline, this makes it easy to accept payments no matter where you are! If you are the type to always carry a little bit of product with you, download the mobile app and you can even accept payments when you are just out and about.

Contras:

So far, I haven't found anything that I don't like.

Square, it's been over ten years, and I still like you

Comentarios: Overall, I think Square is a fantastic choice for small businesses (under $1mil in sales). There is so much flexibility in how you can accept and process payments and Square's latest improvements truly make it a seamless way to keep payment records!

Puntos a favor:

I've used Square for over ten years now, across multiple businesses. I've been very pleased with the ability to run various types of transactions and without a monthly fee.

Contras:

The Virtual Terminal can be buggy, the phone app is prone to freezing. I wish the reports linked to actual transaction (for instance, if I see there was a spike in sales on December 15th according to the reporting graph, I'd like to be able to click the 15th from the report and see a list of transactions). The other grievances have actually been dealt with as Square continually improves their service!

Massive Incompetence

Comentarios: God awful and excessively costly with their constant service fallovers and enabling thieves to steal from you.

Puntos a favor:

Nothing, they have no accountability, no decency, and no competency whatsoever. Fools and clowns.

Contras:

Fraudulent chargeback by a mentally challenged thief that posted photos of his received good publicly. Provided that to Square to appeal the illegal chargeback, and they failed! It couldn't have been easier to win, yet they force you to let them respond on your behalf and screw it up majorly, then refuse to identify the thief so you can fix it in civil court. Disgusting incompetence with no accountability. Don't end up stuck with them like me because of hardware investments, they are beyond awful and will lose your money time and time again.

Square Payments is easy to set up and allows you to capture payment multiple ways!

Comentarios: We've used Square Payments for the last 4 years and during that time, Square has made a ton of updates that improve the software. For example, we've used their Payment Link option to collect payment from clients retroactively in situations where their card was declined or the wifi was down at the time of service.

Puntos a favor:

Square Payments is easy to set up and begin accepting payments for small businesses. It has integration with our accounting software so we can easily categorize payments as they occur and offers great features like transaction reports to stay on top of your money.

Contras:

Square payments does take a fee for each transaction but that is the norm.

Easy set up and payments

Comentarios: It was easy to set up invoice templates, based on the types of services we provide. It looks professional on the receiving end and easy for customers to make payments confidently, as Square is a well known name. We can get money deposited into our account quicker than the old merchant service we used.

Puntos a favor:

The pricing is competitive. The invoice templates we can send to customers are customizable.

Contras:

There is a lot of extra clicking to get between invoicing and just taking a payment, which could be minimized.

Great Option for Businesses

Comentarios: Overall great experience and I still recommend them. I used Square to accept payments for single invoices and recurring subscriptions. Easy to see what accounts receivable are pending, and easy to send invoices with reminders.

Puntos a favor:

Receive money instantly if you use their debit card, user friendly, easy to set up, ability to set recurring invoicing without a separate fee.

Contras:

Now there are separate subscriptions required for some more advanced options. You can't (as far as I could see) set an invoice to automatically charge the customer unless the customer selected it, and you can't enter a customer's payment information directly (as far as I could see). Square Contracts - which is an amazing feature - has one problem - if you need to do a contract with a business/organization, it fills the contract as if it is with the signer rather than the org.

I love this software and the trust that is gives my customers.

Comentarios: I do not think my business could survive without it. The library of items, services and discounts all from my phone or ipad is perfect.

Puntos a favor:

I am able to take payments and create invoices anywhere. I am able to put in other payment options like a check of cash and still send a receipt.

Contras:

I do not like when I open the all on my phone it takes a few seconds to get to where I am trying to get to. I do not ever use the square reader and it always tries to connect to it.

Easy to use, hard to scale

Comentarios: It is easy and convenient however it does not scale well with growing business.

Very convenient, easy to use and accepts all types of payments including POS.

Contras:

Fees are higher and particularly for business of larger size with large number of transaction. Limited customization options.

I wish the app could automatically detect location to remind you when you may need to update your sales tax settings.

What I like least about Square Payments is I have had issues with customer support, especially during peak times. Finally, the limited customization options for payment. Overall, while it’s a strong tool, these areas could use improvement.

Five stars for Square Payments

Comentarios: Overall it’s a great choice whether selling just a few items or a larger inventory of products. It’s quick and easy to use, which is a huge plus on a busy day.

Square is so user friendly. It’s easy to create or add products, and I can access it via laptop, iPad or on my phone. People who have never used it before have been able to step in and learn how to easily navigate it in order to run our merch booth. I also like that there is an option to send invoices.

Contras:

Nothing at this time! I’ve recommended Square payments to others looking for a safe and efficient way to capture payments across several different applications (churches, small businesses).

It's Hip to be Square!

Comentarios: Square is a great program. Most of our events are run by volunteers and the Square system is simple enough to teach on the fly, but dependable enough to rely on. I love it.

Puntos a favor:

We use Square for all major events because it's dependable, fast, and easy to use. One of our Festivals has around 30,000 attendees annually, and we run the entire POS off of Square including: Merch tent, 3 different bar locations, Gyutaku, Boat Building, Special Stages, and food vendors.

Contras:

If Square goes down, which is incredibly rare, it's a nightmare -- however there are some built in settings to help with that possibility.

I would definitely have to say my favorite features about Square Payments is the effective and easy process to accept online and in person payments is wickedly awesome. I can accommodate each customer to their liking and avoid confusion and mistakes simply.

Honestly, I really like square payments. Maybe adding a customize option to how we want to view our pages ourselves as the business owner would be cool. I love being able to personalize anything app or item i use.

Square payments makes my life much easier. It always remembers me and I have to put in the bare minimum information for it to autogenerate everything I need. Paying with square is so easy.

Contras:

There really is not anything I dislike about square payments

Simple and easy

Comentarios: When you run a small business, Square could be almost the best solution. It is simple, easy and nothing to worry about it. However, if you want to go a little bit deep, it causes problems. For example, if you accept a large payment (maybe more than $1,000) through code that you create inside Square website, it will ask you to provide documents. Bothering.... and it freezes the payment asking you to refund to the customer.

Puntos a favor:

Easy and stable to use and things like taxes are treated inside Square.

Contras:

Too high fees to accept payments. Freezing of payments for a little bit large amount like $1,000.

Efficient, fast and easy payments

Comentarios: Overall, pros are more than cons, customers are surprised about the fast process but tapping part should be easier to locate.

Puntos a favor:

Efficient and very easy and fast to make payments. Everything is detailed so it is easy to understand what we see.

Contras:

Everyone is trying to tap their card on the upper part of the machine since there is a sign so that they cannot think to tap on the screen. It is kind of exhausting explaining this over and over to the customers.

Decent Solution Payment Processor w/ Some Security Concerns

Puntos a favor:

I liked Square payments initially because it was fairly easy to set up, integrated with a lot of the platforms I used, had a fairly quick turnaround time for payouts, and had a few additional features that I thought would be useful in my business as I scaled up.

Contras:

My main issue with Square Payments is security. Several of my accounts were compromised due to some fraudulent activity, I had quite a bit of money stolen, and afterwards I didn't feel super confident that Square had adequate fraud protections in place to keep my money safe moving forward. The fraudsters were able to change my password and thus lock me out of my Square account, switch the payout account from my bank account to theirs, and change the verification phone number. I felt so helpless and personally wondered if they couldn't have done more to make it harder for this happen.

Square is the new Diamond

Comentarios: Square helped our non-profit became self-sufficient and collect money in advance.

Puntos a favor:

We use square to handle concession sales and online donations as well as tuition fees. The system works great and we upgraded t the Point of Purchase equipment which made the ease of use so much better and error free.

Contras:

Before we switched to the Pint of Sale hardware, every volunteer needed to upload the app to their phone and have a card slider. Now we can have one central unit for all to use.
