Fairly easy for our least-tech-savvy client to use from their phones and tablets. I.e. It is a full financial planning software that covers most, if not all, aspects of financial planning. The customer service team does provide some implementation and understanding of the software. If I have a question, the customer service team is extremely helpful and they are located in the United States. They also provide instant help as opposed to waiting for them to call me back. > > **Puntos en contra**: The connections to other vendors are ok. I am no longer having clients connect to their financial institutions because they always have to update the connections due to changes in their respective financial institutions' rules for password updates. This is too cumbersome for the client. I also sometimes hear from the client that they cannot find their institution. The other Con is the large learning curve for this software. It is overwhelming and not as intuitive as other Financial Planning vendors. It is what it is. It is difficult to have it both ways...Easy to use and Comprehensive. I am ok. with the learning curve but it could be easier to use. Potential subscribers should be aware of eMoney Advisor's inflexible 12-month contract. Despite my immediate realization that the software was unsuitable for my needs shortly after a prolonged onboarding process (which took over a month to schedule), I was informed that cancellation was not possible due to a 12-month contractual agreement. It is unconscionable for a company to compel a dissatisfied customer to pay for a product they will not use. I have not accessed the platform in over six months, yet eMoney Advisor continues to bill $379 monthly for a service that provides me no value. My explicit communication to customer service regarding the unsuitability of the software and my intent not to use it was met with an unyielding stance on contractual obligations. This policy demonstrates a concerning lack of customer understanding and flexibility.
