Why you should consider Top Echelon

Comentarios: My overall experience has been wonderful and has made my job of quickly locating candidates in the system very timely and with ease because of how their software is structured. I use it everyday, for every search.

Puntos a favor:

What I like most about their software is how easy it is to search for candidates, input candidates, communicate with them and clients and how all the information is stored in the system. I also LOVE their help desk. Always responds quickly and with the correct information the first time.

Contras:

I feel the search features could be more robust.

Top Echelon recruiting soltions database review

Comentarios: I have been with Top Echelon for 6 years and have never had any issues with it. Took me about a week to really get used to it at first. It may take some people less time since I'm an old man. LOL.

Puntos a favor:

Very intuitive, fast and easy maneuvering around the database, tagging companies and candidates, the planner and reminders are great as well as the mass email capabilities and tracking emails.

Contras:

I can't think of any major negatives for the Top Echelon database

New Platform is Extremely Difficult to Navigate

Comentarios: The only reason I'm still with Big Biller is, despite the awkward, and user unfriendly interface in the new platform, moving to another service is out of the question during this Covid-19 pandemic where business is down 30%. Our bandwidth, as a small company, for non revenue generating projects has to be kept to a minimum. The customer support is great but software layout and design should be intuitive and not require so many calls to support to begin with. I remain hopefully BB will work out the kinks. I pay $15,000 a year for Linkedin Recruiter so money is not the deciding factor, ease of use is. Originally Big Biller had the friendliest customer support and simple layout and that was the deciding factor. Not cost alone

Great customer support and easy to reach by phone or online chat.

Contras:

The new version of Big biller has set me back 20 years in my productivity. I actually go out of my way to use Outlook and avoid the new BB cumbersome, user-unfriendly interfacte. The 'running man" (we call him 'burning man' icon offers no clue as to what menu lies underneath. The 'hot list' icon looks like a poop emoji and I had to have someone explain this to me. Too many lengthy menus that open, vanish, disappear, are difficult to find once they are minimized, etc. I'm advanced with computers and can design basic code and find this new platform roll out very dissapointing.

How to Maximize TEN service

Comentarios: I have no way to search for candidates listed from other recruiting companies' jobs.
That is what pinched me on doing porfitable business. I jsut retired from my company but the last 1 1/2 years were tough,

Puntos a favor:

I learned to hard way that just posting jobs on TEN is only part of the solution. Results from recruiter company initially high but the quality of candidates was low as they just hand the candidate apply to the job and sent to me. Have figured out how to do candidate searches for other recruiters who have posted jobs.

Contras:

The searchers for candidates from the other recruiters doesn't work. I can't tell for what the candidates experience is for me jobs and that message I do send never get answered.

Running my Desk with Top Echelon

Comentarios: I have been very happy with Top Echelon. Customer service, support and training are top notch. The leadership is accessible and is there when you want advise on how to make the most out of using the platform.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of set up, use and management. Very user friendly, especially in configuring to our needs.

Contras:

Resume search does not have functionality to disqualify "tags"

Big Biller software review

Comentarios: I appreciate the price for what I consider a better product.

Puntos a favor:

The ease of use and the price. I also really appreciate all the features and the constant updates.

Contras:

I'm used to using folders and files so the data input is what I like least but you need to do that with any software.

Recommend the Software

Comentarios: I have been using Top Echelon for over 10 years and appreciate all the hard work the developers put into the software and gearing it toward small recruiting agencies. It is super easy to use, and I love that it keeps me so organized.

ability to view resumes, print is small and no option to view full page that's readable.

Comentarios: I have been paid over 1 million dollars working with this network. Now my Daughter and our staff are on Top Echelon with same ability to make million dollars plus.

The product and service. Availability of a bigger pool of candidates and job requirements. Learning from other firms.

Contras:

Sometimes speed it takes to get back to us.

I have been working with TE for 20+ years and absolutely LOVE it! It's easy to use and the format is very user friendly.

Contras:

The only thing I can really think of is I wish you were able to text multiple candidates at once out of a pipeline.

Comentarios: I'm still learning the in's and out's of Top Echelon. I'm fortunate enough to have some good support from both the TE staff as well as other using I have made a connection with within TE.

Puntos a favor:

Top Echelon has a large group of professional recruiters that work together for the common goal of making placements. We share our candidates and jobs with other recruiters that works the industry I'm working in.

Contras:

The only item I need some help with is a better way to track the date employees are placed in the company records. I would like to see a "last modified" date posted when a new person is added to the record without having to go to the people data sheet to find this information.

Top Echelon is Top Echelon as an ATS

Comentarios: Overall, I was happy with Top Echelon. I have used plenty of ATS software and Top Echelon was one of the best.

Puntos a favor:

It served Patrice & Associates well as an ATS. It is rather easy to use, is robust and allow sourcing, recruiting, etc to work pretty easily.

Contras:

Search features could be more robust. Easy to create duplicates because the algorithm to look for duplicates was not as strong as it should have been

Comentarios: Top notch! 10 years ago when I was researching recruitment software to run my business I found and selected Top Echelon Big Biller software. A great decision for my business, one that I have been very thankful for. Wonderful people also within Top Echelon, top notch!

Puntos a favor:

Quality of product, reliability, knowing my data is safe and will always be there. I like the bulk email feature very much.

Contras:

During a bulk email process, transferring search lists to a hotsheet and having to hold a button down and go from page to page to ensure the transfer of data to a hotsheet. I wish there was one button to push to transfer all records from a search list to a hotsheet, that would be welcome.

Sometimes, I have a tough time searching the database as our reqs are typically very nuanced.

User Friendly, Reporting and Tracking

Comentarios: My initial rep was incredible and always responsive. Customer service seems more outsourced now, but haven't had any major issues.

Puntos a favor:

Fairly easy to implement, price is good value for features and capabilties.

Contras:

Manual input of large resume database or pretty hight fee to have them do it. Some systems might more fully itegrate to easily migrate data.

What I enjoy the most about top echelon is that they post out jobs on job boards without an extra fee

Contras:

I’m unable to post on Indeed and I’m not getting enough feedback from the job boards

Comentarios: A comprehensive applicant tracking system with lots of features. We appreciate the support of staff over the years. They keep improving. We value the relationship.

Puntos a favor:

The entire platform is comprehensive and easy to use. It is the backbone of our operation.

Contras:

We would like to be able to re-send emails. Somehow searching candidate DB could somehow be improved.

Follow up on TE

Comentarios: Use it all day every day in the staffing business

Puntos a favor:

The ease of the system, I am still learning it and all that it has to offer but very easy to work with.

Contras:

Reminders on follow up on candidates, I wish it merged to the calendar and or there was a pop up that would come up to remind to call the client or candidate.

Love it, better than others I've used

Comentarios: It has been a great experience with TE. I recommend it endlessly. I've used MaxHire, BullHorn and Salesforce and now Top Echelon and 10 times out of 9, I would choose TE.

Puntos a favor:

It is so easy to use, the integration was a breeze and support has been phenomenal. Every ATS/CRM I've used, I've always had the thought of "I wish I could do this" or "Why can't I just switch this to over here" and TE makes it so easy to do all of those things.

Contras:

The resume parsing via email can be a bit of a pain sometimes, I would really like just a drag and drop option as well.
