The switching process was easy, the customer support was great, and all of the features i was looking for in a software were there for a third of the price of Mindbody.
I just hate software in general. I'm not tech savvy, so this whole undertaking made me really nervous.

The website for the business end is easy to use, intuitive and the Wellnessliving team do a fantastic job of monthly tech updates and communicating these updates through various channels including videos. We love the Wellnessliving Business Elevate App. It’s easy for staff to use with little or no training. Our Breathe Fitness client app, that the Wellnessliving team helped to develop, is our most favourite and effective technology. We love having happy, returning clients who can manage their own personal accounts, profiles, purchases, bookings & cancellations in advance of coming to the studio. Easy to use and keeping the technology current with the economic climate is key for us.

I honestly cannot find any fault with this technology. Easy to use and great people to work with. Very good communication.

Extremely poor customer service, inability to roll out updates well, base product dysfunctional.
Comentarios: Marketing program works some of the time. That's a problem when you want it working 100% of the time. The customer loyalty/points system doesn't function if the customer is a monthly unlimited member. This company has very unskilled first-level customer service reps that use blaming the business owner as their answer for issues instead of looking into the issue. I used a group on facebook that was run by wl users/business owners and monitored by wl itself (not outright, but through folks that reported to them) and found it to be much more useful. Many times, especially after updates, some of my customers couldn't see/access the booking page. Wellness Living's answer? Have them all delete their cache. In the new system I'm using (WIX Bookings), we haven't had to do that ONCE in almost 1 year. Wl added lots of features that are useless unless you want to pay more money for them. Poor quality at the core.

Contras:
I’d like to offer hybrid (in person and virtual) classes that are under the same class. Right now we have to do two separate classes.

A++ After being a MindBody client for 15 years we moved to WellnessLiving and never looked back.

The stand out experience is with WL customer support. We know WL is are a living, growing, platform and things are not always perfect. But anytime we have an issue the team leaps into action and helps solve the problems and has a system in place to report any issue to evlivate to DEV Opt team.

Links are a bit buggy for client who use WL at other businesses. This is mostly when you use a link on a mobile phone for a class or event we are marketing. I would also like to be able to generate a link to a day and time, Trainer. Currently it links for services only generate to all.

I also appreciate that they are open to enhancement suggestions from their users.

A Solution for Music Schools

I like the reports that you can generate to give you the performance of classes, events, and appointments. I also like the easy membership auto-renewal features. The ability to set permission levels for users is another wonderful feature.

Every time I find something I'm not that fond of.. they release an update that fixes it. Right now, I'd say my only complaint is how hard it is how Customer service is handled. It's awesome to hear that you're using rewards, that's a huge part of any business nowadays as the power of incentives is one of the most powerful tools to keep clients coming back to your business. At Mindbody they like to charge an add-on fee for that, but fortunately rewards is one of many features already included in your plan, at no additional cost. These 3 events that happened months apart from each other & the most frightening
Event 1, the reports were scrambled and did not reflect accurate data. I only caught it because we had a fundraiser event that had a tee shirt pre-order, and 75% of the orders were not listed in the report.
Event 2, a legitimate autopayment transaction was made at 2:30am. At 2:31am, another transaction for the same amount went through, unauthorized. They said it was my client who ran the transaction. This is impossible. When I complained again, they insisted it was our client because their IP address was associated with the transaction. They NEVER took accountability - MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM OUR CLIENT AND THEY DON'T KNOW HOW.
Event 3, a client asked me to change memberships. I stopped autopay using the toggle button; she backtracked and re-activated using the autopay toggle. Between May and August this client paid NO MEMBERSHIP & accumulated a $1600 balance that never showed up on any reports. They company told me this: "the auto-renew button for the deactivated membership was turned on causing the membership to re-activate and auto-renew for the 12 months. Since it wasn't active for 12 months it accumulated all the payment." $1600 never showed up on a balance report that I ran monthly. Every month, the bank declined the transaction, and I never received a notification when I did for others.
When I quit wellness living, they asked me to DELETE my first review. SO I'M WRITING ANOTHER

It was aesthetically pleasing. It was easy to navigate. It was user friendly for our members.
Contras:
Half the time, support was helpful. The other half the time, they don't know what's going on because much of the glitches cannot be explained. They first make you think you're doing something wrong - you have to prove with videos and screen shots before they even look into an issue. I experienced so many glitches - little ones didn't matter - but when it involved our client's money, it is unethical for Wellness Living to exist.

Hi Jenna, We're sorry for the experience you've had. In regards to the first event, we addressed that there was an issue with the reports and it was resolved in a matter of days. As for the second event, the transaction was made at 2:31am by your client. We checked the backlog, and it turned out to be a manual transaction made from you client's profile. In terms of the final event, the memberships in your business are setup on a monthly basis with auto-renew. You turned off the auto-renew option so the membership expired. After a few months, you went back to the client's profile and turned on the auto-renew option. This automatically reactivates the memberships and accumulates all the missed payments, charging the client. We care about your business and have been working with you since the summer to resolve your issues. We never asked you to delete your review, but only wanted to know if your opinion had changed. Sincere apologies for your experience. - Your Customer Support Team

Comentarios: It has been the worst experience, and still ongoing, seeing as they refuse to cancel my subscription, then lie and tell me I am on a contract, even though I have been with them for over 18 months.Save yourself the headache and go with anyone else.

1. Customer support is barely there, rarely helpful - if you have an issue, good luck getting it resolved.2. Departments don't communicate with each other - Advise support to change billing address, still gets sent to wrong address.3. Partner program is a lie. Do not expect to get paid for referring other businesses.4. They will NOT let you cancel your subscription - once you decide to leave them, they try to convince you to stay, then refuse to let you go and lie to you.

We understand that there were some challenges with the Partner Program payment system updates we implemented last fall. Unfortunately, this resulted in several checks being sent to your previous address before we could address the issue and ensure that you received the several hundred dollars in Partner Program payments you were owed. As a company, our goal is to provide seamless and stress-free experiences for every customer, and we acknowledge that we fell short in this instance. Very committed to customer service, whenever I have a question, they are there to help...I attended the CanFItPro conference this past weekend and checked out the Wellness Living booth at the tradeshow and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Avital, my onboarding specialist...she actually remembered me a year later! Can't say enough about how helpful this team is! I have also been impressed by the numerous functions such as the Transformation Log and in-house challenges made possible through the app. My members love it to reserve and sign in to classes and find it easy to use.
Contras:
Not as intuitive as I would have liked, but I'm not super tech savvy. The online tutorials and customer support make up for this!

Buyer’s Remorse
Comentarios: Horrible. What’s the point of having a customer service phone number and email address if you’re not going to get back to people. I’ve been trying to finish setting up my payment processing account for the last 4 days and haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone to help me finish it. I’ve emailed several people 5 times, called 3 times and left 2 voicemails, and haven’t had any help. The one phone call I did get left a voicemail with vague instructions, and instructed me to call them back if I had questions. I called and haven’t heard back.

I liked the idea of it. It offers very similar features to MindBody, and it’s half the price.

I literally couldn’t even make it to the onboarding process. It’s not so much the software as it is the customer service.

We offer substantial Help Center resources for our customers like the Knowledge Base (1000+ articles) and the Community Forum, but sometimes you'll have a question where you want to get an answer right away and there's no substitute for having a knowledge and savvy agent at the ready when you need it. I'd like to clarify on the part where you mentioned issues with the software. We provide immediate assistance to every customer inquiry, be it a question, an issue or even a complaint on how the software works. The way our process works is simple: you bring it to our support team, and we provide solutions based on your business needs and the use case. More often than not there's a setting in the backend or a way to it set it up differently which is exactly the type of thing our support team likes to help with. Frequently, we also get customer requests to enhance the software by adding or improving on certain features. These range from simple tweaks in the interface to entire new features for adding revenue streams. We build a lot of those enhancements with each of our regular updates and we use an upvote system where we prioritize topics that businesses are requesting the most. Occasionally we also come across instances where a particular feature isn't working as intended, and in those cases our development team fixes it right away - no upvotes required. Comentarios: inexcusably poor customer service and their business practices are shady at best making me feel like Im getting scammed by the company.

the customer service is TERRIBLE. all they do is lie to you and say that they will call you back and never do.it is impossible to cancel the subscription because you, the owner, have no say in the matter. you have to call up tech support where they will "get back to you" and then never do. I have been trying to cancel for 3 weeks now and have resorted to putting a stop order on my credit card because they refuse to pick up the calls and im assuming now that my number has been put on their watch list as I get sent to voicemail 9/10 times. There is also no way for the owner to remove or edit the first credit card they put in, meaning that you have no ability to cancel your subscription or remove your personal payment information from their database. So basically it's impossible to leave without talking to their staff or canceling your credit card entirely.I wanted to post this so that anyone looking to sign up is warned that once you're in. its hard to get out.

Awful - All attempts to fix by management have been lackluster and ineffective.
Comentarios: None. Any perceived benefits from the clients side are MORE than eliminated by the fact that it forces a business owner to run blind.

We changed to this software from Mindbody because it was, at first glance, much more intuitive and easy to use from our clients perspective.
Contras:
This software has completely put my business in the dark from an analytical standpoint. The reports are inconsistent, inaccurate, and unusable. For example, originally, they had no way of separating cash based or accrual based accounting, nor did they realize why this would be important. After explaining to their management team why a business might need to know this, they added a filter to a single report that allowed to view only cash reporting. This filter means this is the only truly accurate report and all other data compared to it is useless. Additionally, reports consistently return inconsistent data. A membership report run for a previous month will swing by 10-15% running the report from one day to the next, which should be impossible, as that month is ALREADY OVER and the data should be unchangeable. Apart from the horrifying inaccuracies in the data, even if it were accurate it would be nearly unusable in any helpful, decision making way. There's no way to compare one set of data to previous sets without recording it externally and doing the number crunching yourself. In an effort to extrapolate literally ANYTHING useful from this software, I've had to hire analytical accountants to manually sift through the available data, and create custom designed software, at great expense. The decision to move to this software may have been the biggest mistake my company has made in 5+ years.

I feel that sometimes there are a few more steps then necessary. Things could me streamlined a bit. I also receive complaints about glitches and errors from my clients semi often, when they are trying to sign up for classes.

Highly Recommend this Software
Comentarios: Everything I need to run my business is provided in WellnessLiving. I can customize Reports, do internal Marketing, provide a Rewards Program, track Attendance, easily create Purchase Options and change them easily, when I need to, add Classes/Workshops/Events, and several Payment Options. Widgets allow me link to pages on my website, especially my Schedule, which members use extensively. Members can add/change their personal info, including cc/dc's. I can also create daily/weekly/monthly Tasks, and there is a running Contact link on each member's profile. I can also see their Activity, based on how they use the software. It really is great software to use.

Ease of use (setting up what you want), and user-friendly interface. The colors make it easy to see where you are and where you want to go. The customization is wonderful! And the apps helps members, and staff to easily access the software. And Support gets back to me right away. Phone calls are answered by a person ready to help me.
Contras:
Nothing really. I guess if anything, it would be requested changes or features taking longer to get up and running, and having to check into the community forum and help menu to find out what is going on with a request. Would be nice to get a notice when my request has been implemented. (And WL is great about asking us for what we want/need!)
