Comentarios: En general es muy buena, si tienes claro lo que necesitas, podes tener un sitio web operativo en tiempo record y sin escribir codigo.

Puntos a favor:

NO necesitas tener tantos conocimientos en diseño web para tener una web atractiva y funcionando con menus, paginas y formularios de contacto. Las plantillas están para ayudar mucho porque te ahorran mucho tiempo de edicion, ademas de que aprender tocando y viendo. Otra cosa es que podes ver directamente como va a quedar el diseño antes de publicar. Tambien no tenes que preocuparte por el hosting, ya que lo tiene integrado. El período de pruebas es de 14 dias, que te permite aprender.

Contras:

Personalmente como desventaja no encontré como integrar algunos servicios de terceros para ecomerce de Argentina como Mercadopago.

Buen recurso para diseñadores

Comentarios: finalmente no pague la membresia, ya que pense que me tomaria mucho tiempo

Facil de usar, tiene muchas plantillas interesantes

Contras:

necesitas saber un poco de diseño pero en general se ve facil de aprender

Comentarios: Aporta a que pequeños , medianos y grandes empresas puedan proyectarse y tener una vitrina en linea.

Puntos a favor:

Su funcion como tal es muy facil para personas que no saben usarlo, lo puedan diseñar según a tu gusto.

Contras:

Por el momento no he visto ninguno, quizás algo mínimo seria que a veces hacen un poco de spam, en el correo.

Comentarios: En general, he tenido una gran experiencia con Squarespace.

Puntos a favor:

He estado usando Squarespace para mi sitio web durante varios meses y debo decir que es un creador de sitios web fantástico. Las plantillas son impresionantes y la interfaz de arrastrar y soltar es muy fácil de usar, incluso para alguien sin experiencia en diseño de sitios web como yo.

Contras:

Squarespace es, sin duda, un gran creador de sitios web, pero tiene algunas limitaciones. Por ejemplo, la plataforma no permite mucha personalización más allá de lo que está disponible en las plantillas.

Comentarios: Buena en un principio pero cuando el proyecto creció, me vi muy limitado y tuve que migrar toda la web a wordpress.

Puntos a favor:

Su mejor argumento es que resulta muy fácil trabajar con la interfaz y crear el diseño de tu sitio web.

Contras:

Hay muchas cosas que realmente no puedes hacer. Por ejemplo, su velocidad de carga es malísima de cara a Google y no hay forma de mejorar esto como si se puede hacer en wordpress.

Un buen constructor de sitios Web...

Muy fácil y asequible, con parte gratuita la cual no está mal, si el siti web a construir es pequeño con squarespace irá de perlas todo y sobre todo con el diseño responsive de base para adecuarlo a cualquier tipo de terminal ( o casi cualquier tipo...)

Contras:

Me gustaría, al igual que otras aplicaciones , que tuviera una opción de guardado automático y no tener que andar pinchando en guardad para guardar los cambios

Si urge una página web visualmente atractiva, esta es la opción

Comentarios: Es una herramienta que sin tener conocimientos de computación te permite tener en un día una página web atractiva y visualmente funcional.

Puntos a favor:

Tiene herramientas de construcción y plantillas de las mejores que he visto en el mercado, tiene herramientas adicionales como creación de logos que complementan mucho y aunque no lo he usado una herramienta para crear tiendas en línea

Contras:

es de los productos más caros en el mercado y la integración con dominios externos no es tan inmediata

Las plantillas y los números diseños para personalizarlo

Contras:

No es muy intuitivo a la hora de usarlo

Una exelente herramienta para crear paginas web rapidamente

Lo que mas me gusta de Squarespace es que no necesitas habilidades tecnicas para construir bonitas paginas web.

Contras:

Lo que no me gusta es el precio. Es muy alto en comparacion con otros creadores de sitios web

Best templates for personal portfolios and e-commerce

Comentarios: Squarespace is a great website builder and e-commerce platform, capturing wide-ranging needs for both personal and business portfolios.

Puntos a favor:

The simple interface was what I liked most, especially as someone who struggles with too much stimuli on the daily. I also appreciated the many available templates, which reduce decision fatigue but allows for small changes in design if desired. The new AI tool is helpful, as well.

Contras:

The templates for online courses are lacking compared to other product-based web commerce templates.

Huge Upgrade In the Quality of My Websites

Comentarios: Squarespace is very user-friendly, intuitive, and versatile. I found it to be a huge upgrade from other services I have used to make websites over the years.

Puntos a favor:

I appreciate the ease of getting started and ability to customize. Taking advantage of the ability to create a "members only" part of a website has been a game-changer for a membership-based nonprofit I work with.

Contras:

I wish it allowed integration with other financial programs besides Stripe/Donorbox and other ways to have an online shop.

THE BEST PLATFORM TO DESIGN YOUR DREAM WEBSITE

Comentarios: For 2.5 years i have been using squarespace and so far so good the customer service is legit

Comentarios: As someon who went to school for design, I love squarespace for the flexibity it delivers. Clients who wish to use this platform have been very happy with the work provided. Getting them positioned in their desired price point.

A really robust website builder option for ecommerce. it offers an all-in-one marketing solution for businesses that want an online presence.

Contras:

I feel for the non designer who hasn't any language or education that supports design trends will find it a little difficult to manipulate templates to achieve their dream website.

From no web design experience to a full site!

Comentarios: I have built several sites with Squarespace and I do believe I am one of their core TAMs - no web / design background and able to build a site quickly and efficiently to help get a project going. For what it does, it does a good job and gets me from point A to point B. I think there are probably more technical builders that are better but this fulfills the need!

Puntos a favor:

Great infrastructure, templates are really easy to plug and play, and it is a fairly intuitive builder.

Contras:

Updating the URL slugs / SEO / site work is hard to find and then update. They need to make that section more clear and easy to navigate.

The New Standard

Comentarios: We needed a way to accept donations electronically at events that occur offsite. Our plan was to utilize Squarespace as a tool in our tool chest of accepting donations. We quickly learned that limiting ourselves to using it only at offsite events was not maximizing the benefits they offer. In the two years we have used Squarespace, we have gone from using it a few times a month to replacing our entire payment system. With companies like Squarespace offering low fees and processing costs while maximizing the value for user, I don’t know how traditional payment processors will be able to compete.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace revolutionized our ability to fundraise. We have multiple events per month that take place off site, either at churches or other venues. The primary goal of these events is to raise funds. We have reached a point where very few people carry cash, and even fewer carry checks. In order to capitalize on the good will we generate at these events and maximize the raised funds, we need to be able to immediately accept donations. Squarespace lets us do that, with a transaction fee that is similar to the standalone card reader we utilize at our office.

Contras:

When we initially began using Squarespace, we encountered some pushback from people who were hesitant to hand their credit card over to us with our phone in hand. However, Squarespace has continually provided updates that address these concerns.

Ease of use wins the day

Comentarios: Easy! I can get ahold of their help desk, there’s a ton of online articles for support and almost everything I’ve been able to figure out on my own.

Puntos a favor:

The ease of use can’t be beat! I’ve been able to get 2 different websites up and running in a day. If you have most of your brand assets and guidelines ready, you can put up a site quickly and have something that functions even if you don’t have a tech background.

Contras:

The eCommerce features are fine, but could use some updates and some fleshing out. But it’s still a great place to start.

Great Platform BUT Some Areas Could Use Some Work

Comentarios: Overall I am very happy with the service and my website looks great. I do recommend this product, even with little to no experience.

Puntos a favor:

I really did enjoy creating my website with using Squarespace. The initial setup guide is a great tool, to get you started. It was very easy to add custom pages, elements and change the site style. You don't need a ton of experience, as they make it so easy to embed calendars and other files. The domain module is so easy to use, they do make that almost dummy proof.

Contras:

The font system needs work. You have to set your font system in your site style and can only have 3 font styles and you have to use them or you have to change your entire site style font system, but that changes the edits on the website you already saved. While the site style is easy to edit. You should be able to just change the font. I also think the customer service is lacking. They haven't been very responsibe luckily I figured out my issue on my own.

Great for any capability

Comentarios: Easy to use, they have great customer service, as someone who had not built a website before it was simplified and looked professional.

Puntos a favor:

I loved the versatility of use and ability to change the overall image of my website. That I could implement many pages into it, from blog posts, to a page of recommended items with links to purchase. Open up a store to sell items. There was an abundance of templates and the ease of access for others to access the website with strict permissions to make adjustments.

Contras:

Not all of the templates were exactly what I needed. When I tried to add images from my own computer they wouldn't always line up accordingly and were stuck in a very segmented grid.

Great for small business

Comentarios: Squarespace allows me to handle my website with ease. Easy to create and maintain the website on my Ipad or laptop wherever I am. I can add products to my website with ease and efficiency.

Puntos a favor:

Very easy to use and very efficient for my small business.

Contras:

Sometimes slow due to the Wifi in the area.
